My Monday

Boy! Am I so so tired today. Went to work early this morning and then around lunch time, went to Merlion’s Park together with my ACIS Staff Committee colleagues. We were doing some recce of the place for the upcoming ACIS event. We went there because the theme for the upcomimg event has something to do with Singapore’s historical monuments.

Walked and walked ….. read and read ….. looking for possible clues and questions that we can pose to the teams that will be doing this event.  After almost 3 hours of walking, discussing and draining my body’s water reserve (I swear the sweat just didn’t seem to stop pouring out of the body….. hehehe, it was hot and very humid even though the sky was a bit cloudy, hope I burnt some of my fats away too! hahaha )

Anyway, we finally end the session around 5 plus.

I took a direct bus from Marina to go back home.  Even with exhaustion and my legs screaming in pain, surprising I could still a bit of grocery shopping  :P

Reaching home, the first … well no the second thing I did was to take a shower. The first was to greet my husband and kids.  They were all waiting for me and everyone wanted to be the first to hug me…hehehe, it was so sweet of them!  :)

Subhanallah…. as the first droplets of the shower poured over me, I felt so blessful that there are still plenty of water to go around in our country.  Felt so thankful to Allah s.w.t. for the creation of water.  What can we do without it?  Definitely we can’t survive long, all of the living things won’t be able to survive if Allah did not create water.

So in thinking of that, I hope the world’s effort to conserve nature and resources will be successful.  Recycling and saving of water need to be done always as well as saving the atmosphere from the greenhouse effect.

Khalas!
