The eve of Ramadan, to avoid unnecessary going out during the month of Ramadan, I had decided yesterday to go and buy shoes for the kids. Went to a few places and everywhere I see …. only pink coloured shoes are available for them. Urghhhh…. why so many pinks???
Just because they are girls, does the manufacture things its alright to produce only pink shoes??? Frankly, I don’t mind pink but not for shoes. They just don’t go well with different coloured clothes. Just imagine wearing a blue “baju kurung” with pink shoes???? Yuckssssss…..
Over at Metro, besides the pink ones, there were silver and gold shoes. *Sigh* another no go for me …. they are too striking.
Finally, after I almost give up, the kids spotted 2 pairs of different design that are in black and brown respectively. I almost jump gleefully because finally there’s something which can match with any coloured clothes.
So for shoes manufacturers out there…. please for next year design, do design something which has both pink (cos I know some people just go ga-ga over pinks!) and something black, brown or even white.

Pink baju kurung with pink shoes is ok but it just won’t go with other colours right? I prefer to buy the kids something which they can use regardless of which coloured dress they put on …. save money …hehehe
I still have not started my fasting … hoping to do so one of these days… if you know what i mean

pink is in now… my fragranceland theme at work is Universal in Pink… everytime looking at those display items in pink…makes me headache…
