Seeking forgiveness

How does it taste to swallow your words and ask for forgiveness from someone else?

Is it sour, bitter and hard to swallow?

Yeahhh ….  i think that’s how it felt.  Before the action of seeking forgiveness, the thought of doing so was already sooo hard.  Yet, yesssss….alhamdulillah today I did it! May Allah erased my sin with this deed. Ya Allahhhhh….you know what lies in my heart….:(

I have been wanting to do so but keep on putting off…. its too bitter lah!

But alhamdulillah, today after reading this verse :

“But if any one earns a fault or a sin and throws it on to one that is innocent, he carries (on himself) (both) a falsehood and a flagrant sin.” – An Nisaa’ 4:112

I was jolted and I realised that I should not delay anymore and do it, seek forgiveness while there’s still life in me.  Most of all, I have to do it, I MUST DO IT …. to gain Allah’s forgiveness and seek His Blessings!

Alhamdulillah …. alhamdulillah … right after I conveyed and said my apology, my heart felt sooo at peace.  I just hope the person at the other end, received my apology and forgave me.

Lesson learned from this episod …. no matter how bitter it might taste at first, seeking forgivenss becomes sweet when we do it with a sincere heart that truly repents …. because of Allah s.w.t.

Khalas!
